Alwerdt's Gardens is an ALL-American Selection Display Garden
They invite everyone to come out to the Gardens and and see the
All-American Selections in their own display area.
They are located 1 mile South Of I70 on US 128 South of Altamont.
Follow the signs.
 
 
There are presently just over 200 All-America Display Gardens located
in 30 states and provinces throughout North America. Alwerdt's is proud to be a part
of this fine program.
 
 
When you come, be prepared to spend some time looking over the 6 acres
of gardens that now have over 1,000 varieties of herbs, perennials, and ornamental plants
on display for both sun and shade.

Illinois Herb Association, Illinois Specialty Growers Association, Perennial Plant
Association, Illinois Nurserymens Association and American Hosta Society.
